The coastal areas differ due to tourism and the seasonal nature of the visitors. During the summer months (May to October) there is a good choice of direct charter and schedule flights directly to Dalaman, Antalya and Bodrum from most UK airports - please find a list of airports below:
London Gatwick | Edinburgh | Glasgow | Manchester |
London Luton | East Midlands | Bristol | Cardiff |
London Stanstead | Newcastle | Birmingham | Liverpool |
London Heathrow | Durham Tees Valley |
Finding direct flights to coastal regions during the off season, winter months of November to April can prove more problematic with limited direct flights available from the UK. Many who choose to visit during these times opt to fly to Istanbul from a main UK airport (highlighted above) and take one of the regular connections to the coastal areas of choice. Â Flight times vary slightly according to location but a flight from the UK to Turkey takes an average of around 4 hours.

The Mediterranean Coast - (Antalya, Alanya)
Getting to Antalya International Airport on the Turkish Mediterranean is easy and takes about 4 hours with direct flights all year round from Gatwick, Stanstead and Manchester. From early spring to late autumn there are direct charter flights from most UK regional airports; Glasgow, Belfast, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle, East Midlands etc. Â There are daily scheduled flights from Heathrow and Manchester via Istanbul.
The Aegean Coast (Altinkum, Akbuk, Bodrum, Didim, Kusadasi, Izmir)
During the summer months getting to Bodrum or Izmir Airports on the Aegean coast is easy with frequent flights from most regional UK airports. During the winter there are fewer direct flights. Many choose to fly via Istanbul during the winter months.
Turqouise Coast (Fethiye, Gocek, Kalkan, Dalaman)
Reaching Dalaman is easy in the summer with regular flights operating from most UK airports. Between November and April direct flights are far less frequent with just a few from main UK airports flying direct. Most visitors tend to fly via Istanbul and catch one of the regular domestic flights to Dalaman between November and April.
Istanbul
Flights to Istanbul are readily available from many airports including London Heathrow and Manchester. As most of the developments are within easy reach of the airport, one full day is all that is required to see all of the Developments.
